To clear or not to clear?
We offer productions pragmatic clearance advice that doesn’t always fall under the clear or not clear labels because we understand the nuances of clearances that can save time, resources and enable creative vision.
At Reviewed & Cleared we know that clearances are not an afterthought, not something that can be done on the side as part of another job, not something that always has a clear answer.
We have access to some of the most experienced legal consultants working in the industry today and work closely with them to help reduce the noise and confusion that can arise around clearance issues.
This resource, unmatched in the clearance services industry, allows productions to outsource the entire clearance process and focus on getting the creative work done.
Liaising directly with each department we relieve the production of documenting and tracking clearances to help deliver a fully cleared project.
We understand the deliverables of the major streamers and work regularly with Netflix, Apple, Disney and Amazon on partner managed and in-house productions.
From neg checks and script research reports though to clearance advice and full-service packages we work with productions to find the clearance solutions they need.

Kevin joined Reviewed & Cleared in early 2019, returning to work after three years as a stay-at-home dad.
Having studied Film and Production in Sheffield, Kevin left the UK in search of some adventure. He began by giving guided ski tours in the French Alps before heading to Vienna and then Munich, where he taught English as a second language. Kevin spent some years working on magazines, first for Hearst UK on its then bestselling title Men’s Health, and as Staff Writer for a lifestyle magazine in Kuwait.
Kevin eventually found his way back home with two young sons to look after and he has continued to pursue his passion for writing, working on screenplays, short stories, a novel or two and taking one of Curtis Brown’s prestigious creative writing courses.
With a love of scripted productions, a keen eye for detail and a genuine desire to help the creative process; Kevin is a perfect support to film and TV production clients requiring Neg Checking services.
