We advise household name publishers, broadcasters, streamers and large production companies, as well as independent producers and online content providers and our lawyers regularly act as legal counsel for producers on productions for major networks including Netflix, Amazon, Audible, Sky Documentaries, Discovery and HBO. Please see the individual pages for TV & Film, Publishing and Audio for more details of our services.
Our approach
We pride ourselves on our expertise and our ‘can-do’ approach. We are a highly responsive team and we work with your deadlines in mind. We care about delivering practical advice and our considerable experience means we can provide great value for our clients. Our preference is to work on a fixed fee basis whenever possible.
Reviewed and Cleared were always there when input and advice was needed – working with them felt like having my own in-house lawyer, and the suggestion of a flat fee meant I could call or email as issues arose without being concerned that a meter was running.
Working with Reviewed & Cleared on a retainer means we have great value legal advice whenever we need it. A busy month for content usually means a busy month for our lawyers – it’s a relief to know that encouraging our journalists to report on interesting stories doesn’t lead to bigger legal bills.
We have worked with Reviewed and Cleared on over 40hrs of topical TV and two different series. I just wouldn’t work with anyone else now. I have complete trust in their advice, they take a common sense approach and are really lovely to deal with.
The Reviewed and Cleared service is essential for any independent film production. Alex provided professional and well researched advice that allowed our production to thrive. Reviewed and Cleared provided us with a service that allowed us to focus on the art of filmmaking. All in all, Reviewed and Cleared provided a researched, concise and quick service that is a must for all productions.
Very happy with the service we received from R&C team who handled our title reports. We had a particularly tricky subject and title search, and they performed at speed, and understood our urgency and were very flexible in helping us get through our different options. Communication was friendly and helpful, and they always replied quickly. Would highly recommend using them for this service, and I will definitely be doing so for future projects.
