Compliance

We deal with all areas of broadcast regulation under the Ofcom Code. We offer compliance, regulatory, ethics and editorial advice through all stages of pre and post-production. 

Our team advise on the full range of commercial compliance queries, from sponsorship and undue prominence to product and prop placement, as well as premium rate services, competitions and voting mechanics. We understand harm and offence issues, especially surrounding children’s participation in formats, as well as questions of privacy, fairness, duty of care to contributors and assisting with vulnerable persons.

We also advise on the COSTA (Code on the Scheduling of Television Advertising) rules on the duration of advertising and can provide guidance on the content of advertisements themselves.
