Anna Doble
Anna has been a content lawyer since 2000, when she joined Wiggin LLP. For 20 years she provided production advice for the major US studios and broadcasters on their UK and European productions, while also giving pre-publication advice to UK print and digital publishers.
Alongside her pre-broadcast and pre-publication work, Anna practised as a litigator defending media clients and their insurers in content-related claims, particularly in ‘idea submission’ claims, copyright, libel, privacy, and contempt.
This unique experience means Anna is very well-equipped to give realistic and practical advice to media clients on their risk exposure and how to keep themselves out of trouble. Anna now focusses exclusively on content work, for example advising on books such as Mel B’s Brutally Honest, Ant Middleton’s Zero Negativity and Oliver Stone’s Chasing the Light, films such as The Serpent, Ted Lasso, Black Narcissus and The Crown, and podcasts including From the Oasthouse: The Alan Partridge Podcast and Kurupt FM.
