Ben Power
Ben has over 20 years' experience as an employment and business affairs lawyer. He qualified as a Solicitor at the BBC and worked there for several years as an employment lawyer before moving into private practice, working for national law firm Shoosmiths, and founding his own law firm. He has worked for a number of media organisations and is highly regarded for his proactive and practical support.
Ben's employment law expertise covers the full range of issues faced in the media, including drafting contracts and policies, advising on restructures, mergers and acquisitions and handling management, data protection and trade union issues.
Ben is also a legal and business affairs lawyer, with experience working on major projects for Disney and Amazon, and for a variety of projects in development.
Ben had a previous career as a TV researcher, and worked on a number of documentaries for Channel 4 and the BBC. In his spare time he is a keen artist and conservationist.
